Nancy asks…
Should I get the nexus 7 or wait for the Windows 8 tablets?
I am considering buying the nexus 7 soon, but I want to know is there is any information on the Windows 8 surface tablets. Will they be as cheap as the nexus 7?

admin answers:
Neither of the Surface tablets will be as cheap as the Nexus 7. Microsoft has a set of minimum required specs which will push even the cheapest Windows RT tablets over the $199 mark, including Surface itself. Windows 8 Pro tablets are no better, nearing $1000 (prices of Ultrabooks). If you don’t mind paying the extreme prices for a Windows 8 Pro tablet, then go for it, that tablet is actually worth buying IMO. But, if money is a problem, stick with the Nexus 7.

Donald asks…
can you download software on the new microsoft surface tablet?
I need to know if you can download software on the new surface tablet? Also what is the difference between the old surface tablet and the new? Specs and all please. And please show your sources.
Thanks in advance
Im sorry i ment between the rt verison and the pro verson

admin answers:
On the RT version of the Surface you can only install software from the Microsoft App store. On the “pro” version you can install any windows-compatible software you want, even if it’s not in the app store.
There is no “old” surface tablet – this is the first one that’s ever been released to the public. A few years back microsoft was experimenting with touch-enabled tabletops under the codename “surface” – is that what you’re thinking of?

David asks…
What are the different versions of Microsft Surface(specs too) and what will be their respective prices?

admin answers:
There are two versions of Microsoft Surface
The microsoft surface with Windows RT has Nvidia Tegra 3, Windows 8 RT OS, 10.6 display, .37 inches thick, 1.49 lbs, 32GB or 64 GB, microSD,USB 2.0,Micro HD Video, 2×2 MiMO Antenne ports
while
Microsoft Surface with Windows Pro has an Intel Core i5, Windows 8 Pro OS, 10.6 display, .53 inches thick, 1.99 lbs, 64 and 128GB, micro SDXC,USB 3.0,Mini DisplayPort, 2×2MiMO Antenae (ports)
The Windows RT version can’t run Windows Programs(Windows 7 programs) while the Windows 8 Pro can.
There is no exact price but the Windows RT version may be priced $199 or $299 and the Windows Pro version may be priced &499 according to speculations.

admin answers:
Get the Microsoft surface RT
it really is an amazing tablet
it has a 10.6″ screen with very good and high resolution
colors look clear and sharp on it
the tablet build quality is amazing
it feels perfect and its made from solid materials
the os on the tablet which is windows 8 is also amazing
its fast and fluid and also simple and easy to use
its made with touch in mind
the web browser is extremely good its fast and pages load up quickly
and it supports flash which is a huge plus and which is something that is lacking on most android tablets and all ios tablets
battery life is very good and would easily get you through more than 10 hours of heavy use
you can download apps from the windows marketplace which has many high quality apps
thousands of apps are being added everyday
more than 2000 apps were added in less than 2 days
it does have more than 20000 apps now and like I said it will keep on increasing
it has dual cameras and both of them take amazing photos and videos
it has deep social network integration(skype, facebook, twitter, linke… and so on)
you also get Microsoft office 2013 for free on it
and if you get the keyboard and attach it to it you’ll have a laptop
overall the surface is an amazing tablet and you should get it
if its not available in your country
there are many good windows 8 tablets made by dell and hp
hope i helped ![]()
